When you browse
You can read the published projects without creating a registry account. The hosting service processes the connection information needed to serve and protect the site. This registry does not add analytics or advertising trackers.
Administrator sign-in uses essential cookies. A separate browser preference remembers when you dismiss our information notice. See the cookies and browser storage notice for their purposes and lifetimes.
When you send a request
The form records the details you provide, including your email address and, where supplied, your name, organisation, message and answers to the project's questions. It also records which project you responded to, a copy of its title and summary, your contact choices, the notice version and the submission and expiry times.
We use a contact request to discuss the project or question you raised. Your submission is private: it is not published alongside the project pages, and access to it is restricted to authorised Coding Reality administrators.
Project updates are a separate choice
When the form offers project updates, that choice is optional and separate from asking us to contact you. We record the wording and time of your preference. Sending a contact request does not sign you up for updates.
Recording a preference does not automatically send a newsletter or confirm a subscription with another mailing service. You can ask us to withdraw the preference using the privacy contact shown above.
Keeping the service secure
We keep short-lived submission counters derived from network addresses to limit abuse. Administrator sessions and a limited record of deletion actions help protect private submissions. These are separate from using your details to answer an enquiry.
Service providers supporting hosting, storage and administrator identity may process information needed to operate the registry. The retention notice explains the different records and when they expire.
Direct email and WhatsApp conversations
Our contact links open your email or messaging app. Opening a link does not submit the registry form or send a message; you decide whether to send it. Conversations sent through those channels are handled outside the registry and are not deleted by its cleanup process.
You can also read Coding Reality's wider privacy policy. Other Coding Reality services may have different storage and tracking settings from this registry.
Questions or changes to your information
Use the privacy contact shown above to ask about your information, request access, correction or deletion, or change a contact preference. Please identify the project and the email address used for the request so that we can find the right record.
